Ingredients

  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Gluten Free Oats
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp Cacao Powder optional
  • 1/2 cup Cacao Nibs or Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips optional but delicious
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 cup Raisins or Dried Cranberries optional but delicious addition

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (really, I know half the time recipes tell you do this too early but it won't take you long to get everything ready)
  • Mix oats, nuts, cinnamon, cacao powder and cacao nibs or dairy-free chocolate chips into a large bowl.
  • Add sweeteners, oil, and egg white.
  • Stir, stir, stir
  • Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread granola onto prepped cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 300°F for 45 minutes.
  • Stop baking when granola looks toasty brown and smells incredible.
  • Take out of oven and let cool completely on cookie sheet.
  • Gently break apart into chunks and add raisins if you'd like.
  • Once it is completely cool I fill small snack sized zip top bags for grab and go snacks, keeping as many chunks together as possible. You can also put into a large Pyrex container.
  • This recipe will make about 8 snack sized bags or fill a 7-cup Pyrex container.

Notes
