Easy Gluten Free Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Poppers

These easy to make bacon-wrapped chicken poppers are not only crowd pleasers but they're also allergen-friendly! If you want to use this as an appetizer they keep well, and smell delicious, if you put them in a crockpot to keep them warm after baking them.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 package bacon
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • dried basil

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F
  2. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cut the bacon strips into thirds, the long way.
  4. Cut the chicken breasts into 1 inch chunks.
  5. Wrap a bacon piece around a chunk of chicken. Place on parchment paper covered cookie sheet.
  6. Repeat for remaining bacon and chicken pieces.
  7. Sprinkle seasonings over the bacon wrapped chicken poppers.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 425°, until the bacon looks cooked and crispy.
  9. Either serve immediately or place into them a crockpot if you'd like to keep them warm as an appetizer.
